Rhian Solomon

rhian-squareRhian Solomon is a Maker who is fascinated by the possibilities that arise through nurturing cross-disciplinary interactions.


Completing a BA in Materials Practice, her projects conceptually explore the boundaries between skin and cloth, the body and dress.


Founder of the network sKINship, she has facilitated collaborative projects between plastic surgeons of Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital London and Tailors from Henry Poole of Savile Row.


Her practice has been presented to and commissioned by Nike Design Kitchen, The Wellcome Trust, Secret Cinema, Maggies Cancer Care and The Institute of Making.


Currently Rhian works as a Visiting Lecturer, Design Educator at Design Museum, London and as Designer in Residence for The NHS.
