The Design Journal has recently launched their PhD Study Reports section and are looking for contributors.

In PhD study reports, PhD candidates in relevant design disciplines have the opportunity to outline briefly the scope, research questions and methodology they are using or intend to use and the contributions to knowledge they are hoping to make without having to state findings from completed work (initial findings may be reported). The aim is for candidates to disseminate and attract feedback on their work, and to make contact with people working in similar areas.

A PhD study report should be no more than 2000 words, including an overview, key words, tables, figure captions, references, and endnotes.

There is no specific deadline and they aim to publish two reports in each issue of the journal (published six times per year).
